I have found another recipe and am including it because it's different from the others.
List of Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon butter
9-10 medium ears of corn
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup light cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
2 tablespoons finely ground dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9-inch pie plate with 1/2 teaspoon butter.
Stand a 4-sided grater on wax paper or foil; grate ears on the side of the grater that has 3 horizontal slits, letting juice and cut kernels fall on paper. Scrape all corn and juice into measuring cup. There should be 2 cups of grated corn.
Mix together the corn, eggs, cream, salt, papper and nutmeg. Spoon into pie plate and sprinkle with crumbs. Dot with remaining butter.
Bake in center of oven until the middle sets, 25-30 minutes. Cut as you would a pie and serve immediately with the main course.
