Apple Cinnomon Streusel Pie
List of Ingredients
- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 2 lb apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- *** TOPPING ***
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 10 tablespoons chilled butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Thaw crust if frozen in a pan. If using refrigerated crust, soften and place in pie plate. Spread apples in crust. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Dot with 3 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
- For topping mix flour, sugar, walnuts and cinnamon. Cut in butter until moist clumps form. Sprinkle topping over filling. Bake at 350 °F about 1 hour. Cover crust edges with foil if browning too much.
