    Apple Cinnomon Streusel Pie


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 9-inch pie crust
    • 2 lb apples, peeled and sliced
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 3 tablespoon butter
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • *** TOPPING ***
    • 1 1/4 cup flour
    • 3/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup walnuts
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 10 tablespoons chilled butter, cut into small pieces


    Instructions


    1. Thaw crust if frozen in a pan. If using refrigerated crust, soften and place in pie plate. Spread apples in crust. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Dot with 3 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
    2. For topping mix flour, sugar, walnuts and cinnamon. Cut in butter until moist clumps form. Sprinkle topping over filling. Bake at 350 °F about 1 hour. Cover crust edges with foil if browning too much.
