Chickenbreast With Onion-Cream-Sauce
List of Ingredients
- 1 1/3 pounds chickenbreasts
- 3 onions, big ones
- some oil for frying
- salt
- pepper
- 1 2/3 cups whipping cream
- 7 ounces creme fraiche
- 7 ounces gouda cheese, grated
- cayenne pepper
- butter for the baking thin
Instructions
- Clean the chicken breasts from skin and bones, then put salt and pepper on it. Place in a baking thin, which is greased with butter.
- Peel onions, cut into halves and then into thin slices/rings. Fry in the oil until light golden and place over the chicken breasts.
- Stir together creme fraiche and whipping cream, flavor with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Fill in the baking thin and give into the preheated oven at 375 °F for about one hour, maybe little bit longer. 20 minutes before it is finished spread the grated cheese over the dish and finish in the oven until it's light brown.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green salad.
