    List of Ingredients




    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 lb skinless chicken pieces (We use boneless chicken breast cut up in big chunks, the cooking time is shorter since there's no bone and pieces are smaller. )
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons corn starch
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 cup Heinz chili sauce
    1 can (19oz) pineapple chunks, drained with 3/4 cup juice reserved

    Recipe



    1. In a big frying pan on medium heat, cook chicken in oil until golden. Remove excess fat.( I skip this step since I'm using chicken breast chunks)

    2. In a small saucepan, mix sugar, corn starch and chili powder. Add the reserved pineapple juice and bring to a boil on medium heat stirring often. Cook one more minute then add pineapple chunks.
    3. Put chicken in a 2L baking dish. Pour pineapple sauce over chicken. Cook uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes.

    Yield: 4-6 servings
