    50g Butter, chopped
    100g Dark Chocolate, broken into squares
    1 Egg
    1/2 cup Brown Sugar
    2/3 cup Plain Flour
    3/4 tspn Baking Powder
    1 Tbspn Cocoa Powder
    2/3 cup Pure Icing Sugar

    Place the butter & 50g of the chocolate into a heat proof, microwave safe bowl & microwave, uncovered for 1 - 2 minutes on MED - HIGH (70% power), stirring every minute, or until melted & smooth.

    Using an electric mixer, beat egg & brown sugar on high speed until thick. Stir in melted chocolate mixture.

    Sift flour, baking powder & cocoa powder over the mixture & mix well.

    Even chop the remaining 50g of chocolate into small pieces. Stir into the dough. Cover & refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

    Place icing sugar onto a plate. Roll heaped teaspoonfuls of dough into balls. Roll in the icing sugar & place on the trays.

    Bake for 12 minutes or until firm to the touch. Stand on trays for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
