    This one uses biscuit cutters of any shape.

    List of Ingredients




    250g Honey
    250g Sugar
    1 Tbspn Butter
    1 Egg
    pinch of Salt
    Enough plain flour to make a stiff dough
    1/2 tspn Cinnamon
    1/2 tspn Mixed Spice
    1/8 tspn Ground Cloves
    1 tspn Bi-Carb Soda

    Recipe



    Put honey, sugar and butter in a saucepan and heat through until sugar in dissolved, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before adding egg. Mix in flour, spices and bi-carb.

    Kneed to firm dough and roll into a large ball.

    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

    Remove from the fridge and cut ball into three. Roll each third of the mixture out one at a time and cut into shapes.

    Bake for approx 5 (soft biscuit) - 10 (crunchy biscuit) minutes at 160C.
