    List of Ingredients




    2 cups Rolled Oats
    4 cups Cornflakes
    2 cups Desiccated Coconut
    2 cups Caster Sugar
    1.5 cups Plain Flour, sifted
    2 cups Sultanas
    250g Butter, roughly chopped
    1/2 cup Golden Syrup
    2 tspn Bi-carb Soda
    1/3 cup Boiling Water

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 180c. Line 4 baking trays with baking paper. Using a pencil, draw 6 x 12cm circles onto each sheet of paper, leaving room between circles. Turn paper upside down on trays.

    Combine oats, cornflakes, coconut, sugar, flour & sultanas in a large bowl.

    Combine butter, golden syrup, bi-carb & water in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring, for 4 minutes or until butter is melted & mixture is well combined.

    Stir butter mixture into dry ingredients. Mix well.

    Shape 1/2 cupfuls of mixture into rounds on the trays, using the pencil marks as a guide.

    Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden. Cool completely on trays.
