Recipe Introduction
Super fast & easy. Great recipe to double the mixture & freeze for another night when you are far too tired or busy to cook. Not to mention it's absolutely scrummy too! Serve with a salad.
List of Ingredients
1 Tablespoon Oil
2 Onions, sliced thinly
1 Garlic clove, crushed
500g Beef Mince
1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Dried Basil
1 cup Macaroni, cooked
1 x 425g can Tomatoes (add the juice too!)
2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
2 teaspoons Paprika
2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
125g Cheese, sliced
Recipe
Heat the oil & saute the garlic & onions until soft.
Add the beef and brown well.
Add remaining ingredients, except for the cheese.
Stir until boiling.
Cool the mix.
*If freezing the mix, do not complete this part until ready to cook*
Place mix in a casserole dish and top with cheese.
Bake in a moderately slow oven, 180C, for approx 30 mins or until cheese is bubbly.
Serves: 4
Freezes for upto a month.
