    List of Ingredients

    1 Tbspn Oil
    4 Spring Onions, chopped
    1 clove Garlic, crushed
    500g Lamb or Beef Mince
    1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
    1/2 tsp Ground Coriander
    1/3 cup Lamb with mint Gravy Mix
    1 1/4 cups Water
    100g Tomato Paste
    1 long Turkish Pide Loaf, halved horizontally
    1/3 cup Pine Nuts, toasted
    2 Roma Tomatoes, diced
    1 tbspn Mint, finely chopped
    2 cups grated Tasty Cheese
    Extra mint for garnish


    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 230C. Heat oil in a frying pan & add spring onions, garlic & mince. Cook for 5 minutes until mince has browned.

    Combine cumin, coriander, gravy mix, water & tomato paste. Add to the mince & bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Reduce heat & cook for a further 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Cut each pide half into 4 pieces. Place cut side up on a baking tray. Spoon mixture evenly over each piece & top with pine nuts, tomatoes, mint & cheese. Bake for 15 - 20 mins until cheese is golden A base is crispy. Garnish with extra mint & serve with a fresh salad.

    Serves 4.
