Olive Oil
¾ cup SR Flour
½ tsp Chicken Salt
10g Butter
¼ cup (25g) grated Cheese
1/3 cup Milk
1 tsp Olive Oil
½ small brown Onion, grated
1 garlic clove, crushed
½ cup (125g) Sour Cream
½ cup (40g) grated cheese
50g potato chips, crushed
Recipe
Preheat oven to 190c. Brush a shallow, square (19cm) cake pan with oil to grease. Combine flour & chicken salt in a bowl. Use your fingertips to rub in the butter until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the cheese & milk & use a round-bladed knife in a cutting motion to mix together. Press the dough evenly over the base of the prepared pan. Heat oil in a frying pan over low heat. Add onion & garlic then cook, stirring for 2 minutes or until onion is soft & the liquid evaporates. Remove from heat, stir in cream & spread mixture over the dough. Sprinkle with cheese & chips. Bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through. Set aside for 10 minutes to cool. Remove from the pan & cut into squares.
