    An all-time favorite, creamy chocolate fudge candy, can be varied easily by selecting different flavored morsels. Yield: 49 pieces






    Preparation time: 15 min Chilling time: 2 hrs

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cups sugar
    2/3 cup evaporated milk
    2 tablespoons Butter
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 cups miniature marshmallows
    1 1/2 cups semi-sweet NESTLÈ® TOLL HOUSE® Morsels
    1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, if desired
    1 teaspoon vanilla


    Recipe




    Line 8-inch square baking pan with foil. Set aside.

    Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in medium heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling, stirring constantly (4 to 5 minutes). Remove from heat.

    Stir in marshmallows, chips, nuts and vanilla. Beat by hand until marshmallows are melted. Pour into prepared pan. Cover; refrigerate until firm (2 hours). Remove foil; cut into pieces.

    VARIATIONS:
    Milk Chocolate Fudge: Prepare mixture as directed above. Substitute 1 (11.5-ounce) package (1 3/4 cups) NESTLÈ® TOLL HOUSE® Milk Chocolate Morsels.

    Butterscotch Fudge: Prepare mixture as directed above. Substitute 1 (11-ounce) package (1 2/3 cups) NESTLÈ® TOLL HOUSE® Butterscotch Flavored Morsels.

    Mint Chocolate Fudge: Prepare mixture as directed above. Substitute 1 (10-ounce) package (1 1/2 cups) NESTLÈ® TOLL HOUSE® Mint Chocolate Morsels.
