    Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is my variation on the old time favorite, Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies.

    List of Ingredients

    • 4 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
    • 2 Tsp baking soda
    • 2 Tsp baking powder
    • 2 Tsp salt
    • 2 Cups butter or margarine
    • 1 1/2 Cup Granulated sugar
    • 1 1/2 Cup Packed brown sugar
    • 2 Tsp Vanilla extract
    • 4 Eggs
    • 1 Cup chopped walnuts
    • 1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips

    Instructions

    1. Cream together the sugars, butter, vanilla, until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time until airy.
    2. Mix all dry ingredients together.
    3. Slowly add the dry to the creamed mixture.
    4. Add walnuts and chocolate chips. Let cookie dough rest about and hour in the refrigerator.
    5. Roll chilled dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fingers or the bottom of a glass.
    6. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-11 minutes or until they are light golden brown.
    7. Place on cooling rack and watch them disappear.

    Final Comments

I love chocolate chip cookies but found the Toll house was to much chocolate for my taste.
