Tequila Lime Chicken

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (3-4)
- 1/4 tequila, Gold is best
- 1/4 cup orange juice, freshly squeesed works best
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1-2 minced and seeded jalapeno pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 freshly cracked pepper
- 6 bonless breast halves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp freshly cracked pepper
Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients for marinade, I use a large freezer ziplock bag.
- Add chicken;remove air, seal bag and turn from time to time to coat chicken.
- Refrigerate 12 hours or overnight.
- Spray grill with non-stick spray, place chicken on grill skin side down. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Discard marinade.
- Grill skin side down 5 minutes or until browned. Turn;cook 10 minutes or until cooked through.
- Remove to platter, cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot or at room temperature.
Final Comments
Great for Tequila Lime Chicken Salad also.
