    Canned Bananas

    This is a good way to preserve bananas that might go bad before you can eat them all.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 lemons grate rinds into the juice of the four lemons
    • 2 cups of sugar
    • 2 cups of water
    • 1 doz. bananas peeled and sliced


    Instructions


    1. Grate rind of four lemons into their juice and let soak over night. Boil 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water until syrupy, add lemon juice that has been strained. Add bananas and cook until semi transparent. Pour into prepared cans and seal


    Final Comments


    Very pretty in the 1/2 pint jars and tasty
