This is a good way to preserve bananas that might go bad before you can eat them all.
List of Ingredients
4 lemons grate rinds into the juice of the four lemons
2 cups of sugar
2 cups of water
1 doz. bananas peeled and sliced
Instructions
Grate rind of four lemons into their juice and let soak over night. Boil 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water until syrupy, add lemon juice that has been strained. Add bananas and cook until semi transparent. Pour into prepared cans and seal
