1 BOX YELLOW CAKE MIX
5 CUPS FLOUR
2 PACKAGES YEAST
1/2 CUP WARM WATER ( 110° TO 120°)
2 CUPS WARM WATER
1/4 CUP SOFT BUTTER
1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 TEASPOONS CINNAMON

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°.
IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, COMBINE CAKE MIX AND 3 CUPS FLOUR.
IN A MEDIUM BOWL, SOFTEN YEAST IN 1/2 CUP WARM WATER. ADD TO FLOUR MIXTURE AND STIR IN 2 CUPS WARM WATER. ADD FLOUR AS NEEDED TO MAKE DOUGH WORKABLE.
PLACE BOWL IN A WARM PLACE AND COVER AND ALLOW TO RISE FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR OR UNTIL DOUBLED IN SIZE.
DIVIDE IN HALF AND ROLL INTO A RECTANGLE ABOUT 1/2" THICK. COVER WITH BUTTER, CINNAMON AND SUGAR. ROLL INTO A LOG AND STARTING FROM THE LONG SIDE, CUT OFF 1/2" THICK SLICES. PLACE ON A COOKIE SHEET WITH SIDES TOUCHING. REPEAT WITH REMAINING DOUGH.
COVER ROLLS AND LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLED IN SIZE. BAKE FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES.
THESE ROLLS FREEZE WELL. IF YOU LIKE YOU CAN ADD NUTS OR RAISINS WHEN PUTTING ON THE BUTTER, CINNAMON AND SUGAR.
