    2 1/2 CUPS BISQUICK MIX
    2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
    1/3 CUP CRISCO BUTTER FLAVORED SHORTENING
    1/3 CUP MILK
    2 EGGS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
    MILK
    1/2 TABLESPOON SUGAR

    PREHEAT OVEN TO 450°.
    COMBINE BISQUICK MIX AND SUGAR IN A BOWL. CUT IN SHORTENING WITH A PASTRY BLENDER OR YOUR FINGERS UNTIL YOU ACHIEVE A COARSE CRUMB TEXTURE. ADD MILK AND EGGS AND MIX WELL.
    TURN OUT ONTO A LIGHTLY FLOURED BOARD AND ROLL INTO A 9 X 9" SQUARE, 1/2" THICK CUT INTO NINE 3" SQUARES, CUT EACH SQUARE INTO 2 TRIANGLES.
    PLACE ON GREASED BAKING SHEET, BRUSH WITH MILK AND SPRINKLE WITH SUGAR.
    BAKE 10 TO 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL PUFFED AND GOLDEN BROWN.

    18 SCONES.
