I began learning to cook at my Grandma's knee. When I got older, my Mom went to work and it was up to me to prepare meals for my Dad, brother and sisters. I loved it and, even though Dad still sometimes teases me about my disasters, I learned a lot. |

Later, when the third of my four daughters was 18 months old, I got a job cooking at a hospital, then moved on to restaurants and earned my living doing what I loved. I'm now retired but I still love to cook and am still learning. |
