Chocolate Caramel Bars

1 (14 oz) bag Kraft caramels
2/3 c evaporated milk (5 1/3 oz can)
1 German Chocolate Cake mix (with pudding)
1/2 c margarine
1 (6 oz) pkg of semi sweet chocolate chipsRecipe
Melt caramels with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk over low heat. Combine in large bowl remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips. Press 1/2 dough into a greased 9X13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and melted caramel over crust. Crumble the other 1/2 dough over carmel. Bake 20 minutes. Cool completely and cut into squares.
