    Linda's Standing Rib Roast

    List of Ingredients

    1 5-6 lb. rib roast
    garlic powder
    1 lg. onion, cut in slices
    salt and pepper, to taste

    Recipe

    Place roast, fat side up, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.

    Sprinkle all over with garlic powder. Cut onion into slices and put all over top of roast, and hold in place with tooth picks. Salt and pepper roast.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hrs. or until meat thermometer registers 145 degrees (med-rare).

    Let stand 10 mins. before slicing.

    Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, brown sugar glazed carrots, cole slaw and rolls.

    Makes 5-6 servings
