Sue's Herb Standing Rib Roast

Use fresh herbs only!
1 standing rib roast
2 T. fresh basil
2 T. oregano, chopped
2 T. fresh parsley, chopped
2 T. fresh rosemary
2 T. crushed garlic
1 T. black pepper
1 1/2 T. salt
4 T. olive oil
If you like, 1 tsp. cayenne can be added for a wake me up.
Mix all ingredients into a paste, and apply to roast.
Let sit overnight.
Roast over hot coals, using indirect heating method, until
desired amount of doneness is acquired.
