My mom used to make these alot to go with chowders and stews. They are delicious!
My favorite is buttered, with some homemade strawberry jam on them! YUMMY!!!
List of Ingredients
2 c. flour
1 scant tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
Recipe
Mix together, and roll out into a floured surface, to about 1/2" thick.
Use a glass dipped in flour to cut out biscuits.
Place on greased pan, and bake at 450 oven until brown on top.
