These are wonderful...They don't stay around long in my house!!!
List of Ingredients
1/2 lb. margarine or butter, 2 sticks
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. white karo syrup
1 c. condensed milk
1 c. or more chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Recipe
Put butter, sugar and brown sugar and karo into pan. Cook over low heat. After it starts to boil, boil for 10 mins., stirring constantly so it own't stick.
Remove from heat, and add condensed milk. Stir in well. Put back on stove and cook until a hard ball forms in bottom of a cold glass of water. Remove from stove, and add nuts, and vanilla.
Pour into a buttered pan. Cool and then cut.
Wrap in cut 2x2 squares of waxed paper.
Refrigerate in a plastic container.
