    Grammie Bea's Fabulous Mustard Pickles

    List of Ingredients




    For each quart of pickles you will need:

    1 scant T. dry mustard
    1 heaping T. sugar
    1 T. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water

    Recipe



    Cut cucumbers in half and then into 1/4's. Cut into chunks. Put in jar.

    Add water to the vinegar. (If you want pickles in a hurry add hot vinegar to hot water). Pour over pickles in jar.

    Add dry mustard, sugar, and salt. Put on cover.

    You can process these if you want to, but we always ate these so fast that we never did.

    Let sit for a couple of weeks and eat. These are great with chowder!

    They are my VERY FAVORITE pickles :)
