Recipe Introduction
This salmon recipe has great flavor, and a nice mix of Asian tastes... I cooked the salmon for exactly 4 mins. on my large George Foreman Grill because it's SO quick. I had 1 whole fillet, weighing 2 1/4 lbs, and about 1" thick except near the tail, and there was plenty of marinade, as I doubled the recipe. I only marinated it for about 45 mins., and there was still plenty of flavor!
List of Ingredients
4 4 oz. salmon fillets
1 T. extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1 T. rice wine vinegar
1 T. soy sauce, I used Lite
1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar, packed, I used Brown Sugar Twin
1/2 tsp. garlic, pressed or minced
1 dash fresh ground black pepper
2 T. onions, finely minced
Recipe
Whisk together olive oil, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, pressed garlic, pepper, and minced onion.
Pour marinade over salmon.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1/2 hr, or up to 2 hrs.
If using a George Foreman Grill: preheat for at least 5 mins. at the minimum setting.
Grill salmon for 4 minutes total, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
If using a conventional oven:
Preheat oven to 350.
Bake salmon, uncovered, for 15-18 mins., or until it flakes easily with a fork.
