10 eggs
10 cups all-purpose flour
1 large yeast cake
4 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon lemon or anise oil
Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Beat eggs, add oil, vanilla, lemon oil, salt and sugar. Add flour, adding more if needed.
Mix very well and let rise in a greased bowl for 1-1/2 hours. Punch down and let rise again for 1-1/2 hours more.
Divide and place in greased loaf pans; let rise again until doubled. Bake at 350 F. for 1 hour or until done. Glaze after removing from oven with a light brushing of confectioners' sugar icing.
