    My favorite bread!
    Cinnamon Raisin Batter Bread

    1 package active dry yeast
    1-1/2 cups warm water
    2 Tbsp. honey
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 cup golden raisins
    3 cups of all-purpose flour (sifted)

    In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in honey. Add butter, salt, and 2 cups of flour. Beat with mixer on low speed until blended. Beat 1 minute on high speed. Stir in remaining flour with wooden spoon.

    Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size. Punch down by stirring with heavy spoon. Add cinnamon and raisins. Spoon batter into a loaf pan. Let rise again until batter reaches top of pan (not over)

    Bake in preheated 350 oven about 40 minutes (How I know when the bread is ready is if the loaf sounds hollow when lightly tapped)

    Cool on rack
