Mexican Corn Bread

1 10 oz. box cornbread mix
1 cup corn kernels
1 4 1/2 ounces diced green chilies
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese -- divided
1/3 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
Combine first seven ingredients in large bowl. Transfer batter to greased 8x8
inch metal baking pan. Top evenly with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Bake in 375
oven for 20-25 minutes. Let cool for about 10 minutes on wire rack before
cutting.
