    Warm Apple Pudding

    3 large apples -- peeled and sliced
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon margarine -- melted
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    3 teaspoons vegetable shortening

    Put apple slices in well greased 8" pan Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, and melted margarine over the
    apples. Put dry ingredients in a bowl with shortening, egg, vanilla, and milk; beat for 2
    minutes. Pour over apples.

    Bake for 35-40 minutes at 375°F.
