Creamed Ground Beef Over Baked Potatoes
1/2 cup sliced onions
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons hot fat
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
6 baked potatoes
Brown onions and ground beef in hot fat (if needed), season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from skillet and set aside. Melt butter in same skillet. Add flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat. Add milk; bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened for 1 minute. Add meat. Serve over baked (or mashed) potatoes.
