    Honey-Spiced Nuts

Sweet with honey and savory from cumin and cayenne, this snack was a hit with our taste panel.

    2 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons honey
    2 teaspoons ground cumin
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2-1/2 cups broken pecans or walnuts

In saucepan, melt butter. Stir in honey, cumin, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat. Add nuts; stir to coat. Spread in 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake, uncovered, in a 325°F. oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until nuts are toasted, stirring once or twice. Spread on piece of foil; cool. Store in airtight container.

    Makes 2-1/2 cups
