List of Ingredients
1 cup grated summer squash (crookneck or zucchini)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion (or more)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup self-rising flour (see recipe for homemade in Miscelleanous)
1/2 cup Bisquick (I didn't add this)
Salt and pepper to taste
Water
Recipe
Mix all ingredients together and add enough water to bind the mixture together (a few tablespoons, adding one at a time). Drop by spoonfuls and fry until brown. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle lightly with salt, if desired.
Makes about 10, depending on size of spoonfuls.
