    Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup butter or margarine
    1 cup veg shortening
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 pkg chocolate chips (12 oz pkgs)

    Recipe



    Cream butter, shortening, and sugars.

    Add eggs and vanilla and beat until fluffy

    add dry ingredients.

    add chocolate chips

    Bake 375 - bake until set but only light brown.

    This will make about 96 cookies and they freeze well - some people I know take them right out and eat frozen. Not mentioning any names, though.
