List of Ingredients
Kirsch or Cherry Kuchen
1 c sugar
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1/4 c butter
1 1/2 c sifted flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c sour cherries, pitted
Sugar to taste
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream 1 c sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk.
Add dry ingredients and mix. Pour into a 9 inch pan.
Place cherries on top and sprinkle with desired amount of sugar.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Sprinkle additional sugar on top when removing kuchen from oven.
Serve warm with milk, ice cream or whipped cream.
