    So easy to make, so good to eat.

    List of Ingredients





    2 c flour
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 c cold butter
    5 tbsp sugar, divided
    1 egg
    3/4 c milk or half and half

    2 sliced bananas or 1 c seasonal fruit
    1 tbsp honey

    Recipe




    Sift flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt together.
    Cut in cold butter.
    Add 3 tbsp sugar.
    Combine egg and milk, mix then add to flour mixture.
    Stir to combine.
    Pat or roll dough to 3/4 inch thicknessand cut into round shapes. Dough may be reshaped to make more rounds.
    Make 8 rounds and place on baking sheet.
    Brush tops with a little bit of milk and then sprinkle on remaining 2 tbsp sugar.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 425. Cool slightly before serving with fruit and honey.
    8 servings

    Notes:
    I used Chinese cassia cinnamon, unsalted butter, lowfat milk and a large egg.
    I used 1 tbsp sugar for the tops and it was plenty.
    I baked on parchment paper for 12 minutes.
