Recipe Introduction


You will need a gallon container with a tight lid because this must be shaken.




List of Ingredients






4 c water
4 c sugar
¾ c instant coffee
1 quart vodka
1 vanilla bean




Recipe




Bring the water to a boil.
Add the sugar and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Remove from heat.
Add instant coffee and mix well, till coffee has dissolved.
Cut up vanilla bean and place in a gallon container with a lid.
Pour hot mixture over the bean.
Add the vodka and shake.
Shake once a day for 3 weeks.
Pour into smaller bottles, through a strainer or cheesecloth.
Enjoy.

Makes great gifts.
