6 slices bread, crusts removed
3 c grated cheese
6 eggs
2 c milk
1 tbsp minced onion with green onion flakes
1 tsp seasoned salt
Recipe
Butter a 9 x 13 pan.
Arrange slices of bread in bottom of pan.
Sprinkle half the cheese on the bread.
Mix the eggs, milk, onion and seasoned salt together.
Pour over cheese and bread.
Top with remaining cheese.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 35 minutes, or until light golden brown.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Notes:
I used home made bread and sharp cheddar.
I added chives and about 1/4 tsp garlic powder.
