Good waffles!! A very thick batter, must be spooned onto the waffle iron.


List of Ingredients




1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs, separated
1 c sour cream
2 tbsp melted butter

Recipe



Mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
In a different bowl, beat egg yolks with sour cream.
Stir in the dry ingredients until well mixed.
Stir in butter.

Just before cooking waffles, beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
Add egg whites to batter, fold carefully.
Cook on waffle iron as manufacturer directs.

Makes 6 waffles.
