    These are great, a very mild flavor.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c butter - room temperature
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 c milk
    4 tbsp cocoa
    1 c nuts, chopped
    2 c sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c flour
    1/2 tsp salt

    Frosting:
    2 1/2 tbsp cocoa
    2 tbsp milk *
    1 1/3 c powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    2 1/2 tsp butter

    Recipe



    Preheat to 375.
    Cream butter.
    Gradually add sugar and vanilla; cream well.
    Beat eggs in one at a time and mix well after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add dry ingredients and milk at once and mix well.
    Blend in nuts (if desired)
    Spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan.
    Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick tests clean*.
    Frost immediately.

    Frosting:
    Combine all ingredients and mix utnil smooth.
    Spread over hot cake, frosting will melt as it covers and spread easily.
    Allow to cool before cutting.. if you can wait that long!

    notes:
    I used real, unsalted butter, large eggs and 1% lowfat milk.
    I had to bake for 33 minutes.
    I used more milk than the recipe called for in the frosting, to get it to spreading consistency.
