    Fudge Brownies

    List of Ingredients




    4 oz unsweetened chocolate (4 squares)
    1/2 c butter - real butter
    4 eggs
    2 c sugar
    1 c flour
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 c chopped pecans or walnuts (opt)

    Recipe



    Preheat to 350.
    Melt the chocolate and butter together in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Cool
    Beat eggs until they are thick and light in color. (like marshmallow cream)
    Gradually beat in sugar, maintaining the marshmallow consistency.
    Fold the chocolate mixture into the eggs.
    Fold in the flour.
    Stir in the vanilla and nuts.

    Pour in a 9 x 13 pan (greased).
    Bake about 30 minutes.
    Cool, then cut into squares.

    Makes 2 dozen.... if you have self control and cut them small!

    May be spread in one 9-inch square pan and baked at 325 for 1 hour. This would make a very sticky, fudgy brownie.

    NOTES:
    Delicious! I have not tried baking in the 9 inch pan.
