    Honey Brownies

    List of Ingredients




    1/3 c butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c sugar
    1/3 c honey
    2 tsp vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/2 c flour
    1/3 c cocoa
    1/2 tsp salt
    2/3 c chopped nuts, opt.

    Creamy brownie frosting, if desired

    3 tbsp butter or margarine, softened
    3 tbsp cocoa
    1 tbsp honey (or light corn syrup)
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 c powdered sugar
    1 to 2 tbsp milk

    Recipe



    Preheat to 350. Grease a 9 inch square pan.

    Combine butter and sugar in a mxing bowl; cream together.
    Blend in honey and vanilla.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Combine dry ingredients, then add gradually to batter.
    Add nuts.
    Spread in prepared pan.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges of the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
    Cool completely.

    If desired, frost with Creamy Brownie Frosting.

    Beat butter, cocoa, honey and vanilla until well mixed.
    Add powdered sugar and milk, beating until a spreading consistency.

    NOTES:
    I use real butter.
    This is a Hershey's recipe.
