Ham, Mac & Cheese with broccoli

List of Ingredients
3 tbsp butter
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 tbsp grated onion
3 c milk
2/3 c grated cheese
about 2 c frozen cut broccoli (16 oz)
2 c elbow macaroni (8 oz)
2 c cooked ham, cubed
grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
Cook broccoli according to package; drain.
Cook macaroni according to package; drain.
Preheat to 375.
Melt butter in a large saucepan.
Blend in flour, salt, pepper, dry mustard and onion.
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
cook until thickened.
Remove from heat and add 2/3 c grated cheese; stir until melted.
Add ham, macaroni, and broccoli; mix well.
Pour into lightly greased casserole dish (2 quart size) and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or unitl bubbly and cheese has melted.
If preparing in advance, bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes until heated through.
Notes: I used real, unsalted butter, sharp cheddar cheese and smoked ham.
I baked for 13 minutes.
I might add paprika and use extra sharp cheddar next time for more kick.
