    Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting

    Excellent frosting, great flavor and delicious.


    List of Ingredients





    2 2/3 c powdered sugar
    Hershey's cocoa - 1/4 c for light chocolate
    1/2 c for medium chocolate
    3/4 c for dark chocolate
    6 tbsp butter, softened to room temperature
    5 or 6 tbsp milk
    1 tsp vanilla


    Recipe




    Combine powdered sugar and cocoa.
    Cream butter.
    A little at a time, add powdered sugar and cocoa mixture, alternating with milk. Mix well.
    Add vanilla.
    Spread on cake.
    Makes about 2 cups.

    Notes:
    I use unsalted butter.
    I often need more than 6 tbsp milk to get to spreading consistency.
