    Deep Dark Chocolate Cake 2

    Recipe Introduction



    Moist, rich and delicious!! This is almost the same as my other deep dark chocolate cake recipe, only the flour measurement is different. Both cakes are delicious.



    List of Ingredients





    2 c sugar
    1 3/4 c flour
    3/4 c cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    2 eggs
    1 c milk
    1/2 c vegetable oil
    2 tsp vanilla
    1 c boiling water


    Recipe




    Preheat to 350.
    Prepare a 9 x 13 pan or 2 - 9 x 1 1/2 round pans.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add eggs, milk and oil.
    Mix on medium speed of an electric mixer for 2 minutes.
    Remove from mixer. Scrape bowl.
    Add boiling water and stir until mixed - batter will be thin.
    Pour into prepared pans.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes for a 9 x 13 pan.
    For 2 - 9 inch pans, bake 30 to 35 minutes.
    Test center of cake with a tooth pick.

    Cool. IF using 9 inch round pans, cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool on wire rack.

    Frost with One bowl chocolate butter cream frosting.

    Notes:
    I used large eggs and lowfat milk.
    I baked for 35 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan.
