    Foolproof Dark Chocoalte Fudge

    So simple, so good!

    List of Ingredients





    3 pkg, 6 oz each, semi sweet chocolate chips
    14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
    dash of salt
    1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts, as desired
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla


    Recipe





    Line a square pan, 8 or 9 inch, with wax paper.
    In a heavy saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, the sweetened condensed milk and the salt.
    Heat and stir until the chocolate chips melt.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in nuts and vanilla.
    Spread into prepared square pan.
    Chill till firm, about 2 hours.
    Turn out onto a cutting board and remove wax paper.
    Cut fudge into squares and store loosely covered at room temperature.
    Makes about 2 lb fudge.

    Notes:
    I have made this with and without nuts.
    It is simple to make and the flavor is good.
