Apple Sauce Oatmeal Cookies

List of Ingredients




1 3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 c butter, softened
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 c apple sauce
1/2 c raisins
2 c uncooked oatmeal


Recipe



Stir together flour, salt, pumpkin pie spice and baking soda
Add butter, sugar,and egg. Beat together until fluffy.
Stir in the flour mixture and applesauce. Beat well.
Stir in raisins and oatmeal.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until cookies are browned.
Remove to wire rack.
Cook completely before storing. Store lightly covered.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.

NOTES:
This is a recipe from my DH's grandmother. It is a Musselman applesauce recipe.
