3/4 c sugar
1/4 c shortening
1 egg
1/2 c milk
2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 c fresh blueberries
Topping:
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c butter, softenedRecipe
Preheat to 375.
grease on 8 x 8 baking pan.
Cream together sugar, shortening, and egg.
Mi four, baking powder and salt; stir into sugar mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in blueberries gently.
Pour into prepared pan.
Topping:
Combine all ingredients; use a pastry blender to make fine crumbs.
Sprinkle over cake batter.
Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes.
