List of Ingredients 1/2 c quick oats 1/2 c sugar 1/4 c butter or margarine, room temperature 3/4 to 1 tsp cinnamon dash of salt 2 1/2 to 3 lb apples Recipe Mix oats, sugar and salt. Cut in butter with a pastry cutter. Add cinnamon and stir. Peel and core apples. Slice thinly. Place in greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Top with oatmeal mixture. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Notes: Original recipe calls for brown sugar. I normally use 7 or 8 medium/large apples. Source: Adapted from BH&G Step by Step Cookbook
