Quick Hot Fudge Sauce

Chocolate Fantasies

So easy and so yummy! A milder chocolate flavor than many hot fudge recipes.


List of Ingredients




1 c sugar
1/3 c cocoa
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1 c boiling water
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe



Combine first ingredients in a saucepan. Stir well.
Add butter.
Gradually add the boiling water.
Cook over medium heat until it thickens and is smooth - stir constantly.
Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and immediately stir in vanilla.

Serve hot over ice cream.

Refrigerate. Makes 1 1/4 cups sauce.

Notes:
Reheats well in the microwave.
