List of Ingredients
4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
3/4 tsp salt, divided
1/4 tsp pepper
3 tbsp flour
1 tbsp oil
3 medium potatoes, cut into 1 inch thick pieces
4 large carrots, cut into 1 inch thick pieces
1 small onion, chopped
1 celery rib, chopped
1 c warm water
1 tsp chicken bouillon granulesRecipe
Sprinkle pork chops with 1/2 tsp salt and pepper; dredge in the flour.
Pour oil in large skillet; brown chops over medium heat. Drain fat.
Add potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery.
Sprinkle with remaining salt.
Mix warm water with bouillon granules; pour over vegetables and chops.
Cover, cook on medium-low heat until chops are cooked and vegetables are tender, about 40 minutes.
4 servings
Notes:
I used 3/4 inch thick chops so cooked for 1 hour.
I used 3 celery ribs, omitted the salt but added an all purpose salt free seasoning.
