Recipe Introduction
This was good. I adapted the recipe a little bit and the cooking time, thanks to advice from Bobbijo (from Mimi's) and it was great!
List of Ingredients
3 tbsp semisweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp Kosher salt
Recipe
Combine chocolate chips and butter in a microwave dish. Cook on low for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each 30 seconds, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
In a different dish, combine honey and milk; mix well.
Add egg, vanilla, and salt; mix well.
Stir in melted chocolate chips and stir until totally combined.
Gently stir in flour.
Use non-stick cooking spray to prepare a 2 c measuring cup or a large mug.
pour in batter.
Microwave on medium power for 3 minutes.
Cool slightly, then overturn onto serving plate.
Notes:
I was generous with the chocolate chips.
I used salted butter so was skimpy with the Kosher salt.
The egg was large, vanilla was spilled (see advice below) so probably a full tsp or so.
I cooked at low power for 2 minutes and high for 1 minute.
Advice - do not pour vanilla with a 75 lb dog bumping into your legs. :)
